Surrey Canadian Passport Office: Maps & Directions

Please leave comments here about your experiences at this location (getting there, lineups, times to go, times to avoid).

Surrey Passport Canada Office (BC)

This is the Passport Canada Location that you would go to in order to get Regular, Rush or Urgent service for your passport application. Mail applications forms can take up to 5 weeks nowadays, but dropping off your Passport Application Forms at a location like this type should take less than 2 weeks without paying extra. Bypassing the long long long lineup can be done by filling out your application form using the EPass online method linked below. You still have to go to the office, but you'll save hours of time.

Click here for BC locations of Official Offices, Receiving Agents or Canada Post Offices that can accept your Canadian passport application. Receiving Agents and CP Offices can't give urgent or express service, perform requests for modifications to your passport, or accept forms without guarantors (which should be a non-issue these days). Even then, they will take about 5 weeks to process your application. However, if you request, a Receiving Agent will take photocopies of your documents and return them to you, so you don't have to be without them for 5 weeks.

I went to get my passport

I went to get my passport renewed (simplified version). I was directed to stay in the line infront of 2 tellers. One of teller was yelling at a customer because she could not speak english very well. Another teller was very rude as well. The Security lady was not a proper informant. It is not that I go to the passport office everyday that I would know what to do there. After a bad gesture and rude remark I was directed to a very nice amaizing person who attened me. I fully understand they go through lots of people during the day but customer service is very important and surrey is a multi-cultural city and there should be more help provided to minorities.

Kudos to Surrey Passport Office

February 15, 2010

I recently went down from the Okanagan to apply for an urgent passport for a surprise trip to Mexico.
I was requesting the 24 hour service as I was hoping not to have to drive back to pick it up. I was only
10 days from my travel date. The staff at the Surrey passport office were above and beyond from the
commisioner to the ladies in the office itself. If you have all your documentation properly done and
can show proof of travel ie: paid tickets and internary. My pics were rejected, was able to get new ones
done at London Drugs at 9:00 am within a few minutes. Back to the passport office. I picked my passport
up the following day at 11:00. They were very professional and as helpful as they could be. Thanks to
all at the Surrey passport office. I filled out the online e-pass form which is all typed written wrote a letter
requesting the service with all information had paid tickets to show agent. This service is not guaranteed
so I was greatful to get it.

Thanks again.
