Kitchener Waterloo Driveclean E-Test Emissions Test @ Economylube

The economylube that I went to doesn't take appointments for e-tests,
they solely do it on a drop-in basis and quickly, which is a much better
way of doing things for me!
They are, however, big on upselling, so just be sure to know what you're
going there for and get just what you need and came in for.

E-test pricing is all regulated anyway, the price is the same regardless
of where you go, so go with whomever is the most convenient.

E-test

They are thieves to say the least. My wife went in for an e test and she came out with a $500 plus bill. She never takes our cars in but did so as I was in the hospital. I eventually confronted the manager who new me cowered behind the cash register. I threatened him with everything imaginable and he finally gave me a cash settlement. By no means trust them.

Their high-pressure upselling lost them me as a customer. I'll never go back to them. I hate it when they pull stunts like show me a blob of oil on my transmission dip-stick claiming that it's got metal shavings in it and then try to get me to pay for a full flush, clean and replace job. (At the University/Regina location in Waterloo.) BTW I took the car to a mechanic that I trust who confirmed there was nothing wrong with the oil. He said that even though it was a couple of years old it didn't need even a top-up let alone replacement let alone all the "work" that economylube tried to foist on me. Stay away from these guys.
